Jimmy and Kelly share honestly and vulnerably from their 20 years of marriage. Things started out hard and they read every Christian book on marriage they could find. And yet many left them wanting. 

So in this conference, they share the messages they wish they would have heard in year 1, passing on the hard-fought lessons and wisdom they’ve learned along the way.

This conference is deeply rooted in the Bible, grounded in the gospel and full of personal stories that invite honesty, conversation, and cultivate fresh hope.

FAQs

  • There is some flexibility in how the conference is set up. You can do 3 sessions and then a Q&A session. Or you can do the 4 sessions listed above.

    If you only want 3 sessions, Jimmy and Kelly recommend sessions 1, 2, and 4. After booking, a meeting will be set up for you to discuss the best plan for your church with Jimmy and Kelly.

    • DISCUSSION TIME: Jimmy and Kelly build in some discussion time to every session so couples can talk together about what they just heard.

    • QUESTION AND ANSWER TIME: J&K love doing Q&A and churches have handled it differently. Some choose to add 5-10 minutes of questions at the end of each session. Some create a whole session out of the Q&A time and include someone from church leadership.

    • SUPPLEMENTAL PROGRAM INFORMATION: Further discussion questions are available that can be included in a program or booklet for couples to use afterwards. J&K also have supplemental resources that can be included via QR code.

  • Yes! Jimmy and Kelly always include a digital meeting or call as part of the preparation. They want to serve your people well and that includes getting to know you, your church, and the marriage needs you’re dealing with.

  • We've seen this conference be a great fit for every adult in a church family. Jimmy and Kelly have even written discussion questions for engaged and dating couples as well as for single people. Everyone needs a strong theology of marriage and needs to know how to support and encourage the marriages in a church. Ultimately, that decision it is up to you, but Jimmy and Kelly are open to it and have done it before.
